Congratulatory messages, Achievements, Staff profiles and more!

Message - President and Chief Executive Officer, The Victoria Mutual Building Society, Karl P. Wright

As we celebrate 125 years of services to Jamaica, we can relate to the desire to participate in nation development, and are cognizant of how rewarding it is when one has reached a milestone in this endeavour. We are, indeed, very delighted to have been key supporters of the Jamaica Teacher’s Association (JTA) and it’s cause, since 1987, and take great pleasure in extending heartiest congratulations on you 40th Anniversary.

In recent times, the teaching profession has been experiencing many trails and tribulations, as the classes in our schools are getting larger, our children more challenging and a large number of our teachers seek to better themselves in other countries. However, the JTA continues to serve our nation well, by helping to improve education in our society.

I salute the Jamaica Teacher’s Association, on behalf of the Broad of Directors and the Management and Staff of VMBS, and wish for you continued success. As the teaching profession and the educational system continue to experience increased challenges, we welcome you in a company of organizations that have stood the test of time and today, stand tall as an indication of the prospect of many more milestones to be celebrated and remembered.

Karl P. Wright
President and Chief Executive Officer
The Victoria Mutual Building Society
