BOARD of Directors, Management and Staff of the Jamaica
Publishing House Ltd join in the 40th Anniversary celebrations
of our parent body, the Jamaica Teachers` Association,
and extend heartiest congratulations to the organisation
on achieving this milestone.
Maturing
to age 40 could not have been an easy task and to do
so it must have taken a lot of hard work, professionalism,
dedication and commitment on the part of the JTA †
all attributes that are necessary if an organisation
is to
exist and prosper for so many years.
May
you continue to serve and represent our nation`s teachers
with pride. The management and staff of the JTA, teachers
who have served at the highest level as President and
member of General Council, as well as at the Parish
Associations,
must be commended for their efficient performance. Your
unstinting devotion to duty and your sterling contribution
to education can only serve to benefit the nation`s
children and ultimately create a better Jamaica.
