An
amazing 40 years
IT
IS with great pleasure that I extend congratulations
to the Jamaica Teachers` Association on the occasion
of its 40th Anniversary. Indeed, it has been 40 years
of dedicated service to the nation`s teachers, and by
extension their families. Your institution can take
justifiable pride in the fact that it has impacted positively
on the educational system of this nation.
History
has recorded the many occasions on which you have rallied
to the teachers` cause. It is a fact that nothing of
value comes without careful effort and it is through
this careful effort that you have been championing the
cause of teachers.
The
cadre of presidential leaders that you have produced
over the years has clearly made you one of the most
outstanding and highly recognised trade unions in Jamaica
and the Caribbean.
On
behalf of the Board of Directors, Committees, Management
and staff I congratulate you on achieving this milestone,
and pray God`s continued blessing on your organisation.
